Robotics Club:
STEAM Learning integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics, with key skills such as problem
solving, strategic thinking and collaboration. Digital & Design Technologies aims to develop the knowledge,
understanding and skills to ensure that, individually and collaboratively, students develop confidence as critical users
of technologies and designers and producers of designed solutions, and they design, create, manage and evaluate
sustainable and innovative digital solutions.
Keeping that in mind, our young scientists, engineers, mathematicians have collaborated with peers and learnt how
to Design, Make and Learn. Some highlights of what the kids have learnt in the Robotics club are given below :

Verbal Linguistic :
Verbal Linguistic Intelligence is a part of Multiple intelligence Theory that deals with individuals’ ability to understand written and spoken language. An array of activities enabled the students to go beyond the books.
Students were introduced to techniques of oratorical skills, self-introduction with confidence, what to share about yourself in an introduction. They were shown famous speeches and will jot down notes.
They tried to compose their own speeches. Techniques of debates to be explained, students will write their debates.
Students were introduced to the concept of ‘for the motion’ and ‘against the motion’ which would help them during debates. They participated in few of them. Students expressed themselves for a minute on a topic keeping in mind body language, posture, volume, speed and expression of voice. Students read articles from newspaper wherein the emphasis was on
speech clarity and pronunciation. They were encouraged to read newspapers , find new words and use them in their day to day language. They worked upon their vocabulary as well by finding out synonym and antonym. Students recited poetry or choral poem recitation with the nuances of expression , pronunciation and clarity.
Students were introduced to techniques of accuracy , fluency, expression , pace and pronunciation. The students were taught the basics of a writing piece , the introduction, body and the conclusion. This would be the basis of every topic they write on. Further , the students were told about the importance of time limit , how important was it to write on the basis of the time limit allotted to them.

Bodily Kinesthetic Club :
Kinesthetic Intelligence is the ability to use one’s body with great precision, helping to facilitate the implementation of our goals and personal objectives. Those with kinesthetic intelligence are able to use the body to move from intention to action. This type of intelligence involves coordination, balance, skill, speed, strength, and dexterity. In short, it relies on tactile mechanisms and human movement to get information.
It is crucial for our own well being, to remember the importance of unity, balance and harmony of both concepts, Logical and Kinesthetic Intelligence, by keeping in mind that the body and mind go hand in hand in our development. The “reflective” or cerebral part is equally as necessary as the
“active” or physical part of us. As part of the club, students enjoyed their Bodily-Kinesthetic club participating and learning the following sports.
Table Tennis :
Squash :
